Woman must put herself into the text — as into the world and into history— by her own movement.

Informed and shaped by a history of fluxus and performance art, Anna moves and removes her body to express art as a living entity — one shaped through artistic interventions.
Through strange or derisive procedures, bizarre sculptures, and durational gestures, she explores notions of responsiveness, empathy, and human connectivity. She couples simple sculptural materials, performance, and video with conceptual ideas to form actions that revel in the poetic and deliberate manner in which objects shape and bend to circumstance — how they respond within an environment in opposition to or in sync with the physical body.
