Jacinte Armstrong

Jacinte Armstrong is an Acadian artist based in K’jipuktuk/Halifax, NS. She is Artistic Director and co-founder of SiNS (Sometimes in Nova Scotia) Dance and co-Artistic Director at suddenlyLISTEN music + performance. She holds an MFA from NSCAD University (2020) and is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst (CMA).

Sarah Bild

Montreal movement artist Sarah Bild has been creating and performing deeply textured, multi-disciplinary works of dance and performance for the last 30 years across Canada. Co-founder of La Poêle studio, she is a certified teacher of Action Theater and teaches opera creation seminars at l’Université de Montréal.

Susanne Chui

Susanne Chui is a mother of two, an award-winning dance artist, and co-artistic director of Mocean Dance, based in Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki, (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Energized by the world’s aliveness and intrinsic creativity, her practice is grounded in sensing and responsiveness.

Rachel Cohen

Rachel Cohen is a New York City-based creator

and performer, director of multidisciplinary performance company Racoco Productions, and a certified teacher of Action Theater improvisation. She has a lifelong interest in excavating the symbiosis of humans and things.

Nadine Sures

Nadine Sures is a transdisciplinary artist whose practice spans performance, installation, and pedagogy. With over 20 years experience both in Canada and abroad, Nadine has developed a nuanced approach to embodied performance, producing work that engages with themes of memory, gender and hysteria. Through movement, speech, sound and object play she explores how memory and place intertwine to shape narratives, and how the transient nature of the mind-body relationship informs our engagement with time and space.
